"The mandoline is the one thing that sends most people to urgent care. Every day I have a few mandolin slicer injuries. People cut themselves with a mandolin and end up needing stitches. Personally, I won’t buy a mandolin. I’ve seen so many bad mandolin injuries, it’s not even worth having one," said Dr. Kort.

"We get a ton of people who come in with chest pain and that is a very difficult complaint. If you’re a millennial or a child and you have chest pain, then coming to urgent care is probably appropriate. But, if you’re over 50 years old or have significant risk factors of hypertension, high cholesterol or diabetes, you should be in the hospital."
